Welcome to the Music Technology Teacher Network! Our goals are to advocate for music technology programs in schools across the world, support teachers and students by providing relevant and effective resources for instruction, inspire teachers and students by providing information, ideas, and encouragement to engage in music making, and finally to transform those ideas into creating music through technology.

We also offer consulting services to schools or school systems for professional training sessions, curriculum, and facilities development. We are here to help and encourage you to contact us with any requests, questions, or general feedback about how we can better help you and your students succeed!

Music Technology

101

I am so excited to announce the release of Music Technology 101! The book is the result of my experiences teaching music technology and developing curriculum over the last 8 years. It is ideal for music students, teachers, or anyone interested in learning how to create music with technology. I provide practical, actionable, and easy-to-understand information, resources, and advice to anyone interested in teaching a music technology course or learning how to become a do-it-yourself music producer. One of the coolest things about the book is the nearly 90 minutes of video tutorials that are included! Along with the purchase of the book you get a link and code that will get you access to these videos as well as lesson plans, rubrics, and other resources. You can also order through Hal Leonard or your local music store or book seller.
